한글마루는 뉴송한글학교가 학사 운영을 위해 사용하는 내부 웹 서비스입니다. 학교의 교사와 운영진, 그리고 학부모가 사용합니다. 일반에 공개된 서비스가 아니며, 학교가 초대한 사람만 계정을 만들 수 있습니다.
이 문서는 한글마루가 어떤 정보를 수집하고, 왜 수집하며, 어디에 보관하고, 누구와 공유하는지를 설명합니다.
1. 수집하는 정보
교직원 (교사·운영진)
- 이름, 이메일 주소
- 역할(교사·관리자·운영자)과 담당 반
- 비밀번호는 인증 서비스(Supabase Auth)가 관리하며, 한글마루는 비밀번호를 저장하거나 볼 수 없습니다
학생
학교가 등록 과정에서 보호자로부터 받은 정보를 학교가 직접 입력하거나 등록 명단에서 가져옵니다.
- 한글 이름, 영문 이름, 생년월일, 성별, 학년
- 한국어 수준, 반 배정, 등록 상태
- 알러지 정보 (간식·요리 활동·현장학습에서의 안전을 위해)
- 출결 기록(출석·지각·조퇴·사유결석·결석)과 교사가 남긴 결석 사유
- 과제 제출 상태, 점수, 교사 피드백
- 성적표(출결 집계, 학습 내용, 성취도 평가, 담임 의견)
- 담임 교사가 남긴 메모 — 학부모에게는 공개되지 않습니다
보호자
- 이름, 학생과의 관계(어머니·아버지·조부모 등)
- 전화번호, 이메일 주소 (가정통신문 발송과 비상 연락을 위해)
AI 채팅 이용 기록
교사가 “한글마루 AI”에 입력한 대화 내용 전체와 AI의 답변이 저장되며, 학교 관리자가 사용량 확인과 검토 목적으로 조회할 수 있습니다. 채팅 화면에도 이 사실을 표시하고 있습니다. 따라서 개인적인 내용이나 민감한 정보는 입력하지 마시기 바랍니다.
계정 없이 쓰는 학생
한글 타자연습처럼 학생이 계정 없이 쓰는 기능에서는 계정을 만들지 않습니다. 이때는 학생이 입력한 닉네임과 연습 기록만 저장되며, 실명이나 연락처는 수집하지 않습니다.
2. Google 사용자 데이터
한글마루는 학교의 수업 자료를 다루기 위해 구글 드라이브와 연동합니다. 이 연동은 학교 관리자 한 명의 구글 계정으로 이루어지며, 교사·학부모는 각자의 구글 계정을 연결하지 않습니다.
요청하는 권한
.../auth/drive— 학교가 지정한 공유 폴더의 파일을 보고, 열고, 올리고, 이름을 바꾸고, 옮기고, 삭제하기 위해 필요합니다.../auth/userinfo.email— 어느 구글 계정이 연결됐는지 관리자 화면에 표시하기 위해 필요합니다
이 권한으로 하는 일
- 반별로 지정된 공유 폴더의 자료 목록 표시, 열람, 다운로드
- 교사가 수업 자료를 업로드하고 폴더를 정리
- 등록 학생 명단 파일(엑셀)을 읽어 학생·보호자 정보 가져오기
- 학생 명단을 구글 시트로 내보내기
- AI 채팅이 답변할 때 학교 자료를 참고자료로 검색
저장하는 것과 저장하지 않는 것
- 저장합니다 — 구글이 발급한 접근 토큰(서버에서만 사용, 브라우저로 내려보내지 않음), 연결된 구글 계정의 이메일 주소, 학교가 지정한 폴더의 ID와 이름
- 저장하지 않습니다 — 드라이브 파일의 내용 자체. AI가 참고할 때 그 요청을 처리하는 동안만 읽고, 별도로 복사해 두지 않습니다
공유하지 않는 것
구글 드라이브에서 얻은 데이터를 광고에 사용하거나, 판매하거나, 학교 외부의 제3자에게 넘기지 않습니다. AI 답변 생성을 위해 참고자료의 일부가 Google Gemini API로 전송되는 경우가 있으며, 이는 아래 3항에 설명합니다.
한글마루의 Google 사용자 데이터 이용은 Google API 서비스 사용자 데이터 정책(제한적 사용 요건 포함)을 따릅니다.
연동 해제
관리자는 한글마루의 “구글 드라이브 관리” 화면에서 언제든 연동을 해제할 수 있습니다. 구글 계정 설정(계정 → 보안 → 서드파티 앱)에서 직접 권한을 회수할 수도 있습니다. 해제하면 저장된 토큰은 더 이상 사용되지 않습니다.
3. AI 기능과 외부 전송
한글마루의 AI 기능(채팅, 이미지·인포그래픽 생성, 자료 요약 등)은 Google Gemini API를 사용합니다. 다음 내용이 처리를 위해 구글로 전송됩니다.
- 교사가 입력한 질문과 대화 내용
- 이미지 생성을 위해 입력한 설명
- 답변에 참고할 학교 드라이브 자료의 일부 발췌
학생의 이름·생년월일·연락처 같은 개인정보를 AI에 자동으로 보내지는 않습니다. 다만 교사가 대화창에 직접 입력한 내용은 그대로 전송되므로, 학생 개인정보를 AI 채팅에 입력하지 않도록 안내하고 있습니다.
4. 보관 위치와 기간
- 데이터베이스와 파일 저장 — Supabase
- 웹 서비스 호스팅 — Vercel
- AI 처리 — Google
위 서비스의 서버는 미국에 있습니다. 정보는 학교가 학사 운영을 위해 필요한 기간 동안 보관하며, 더 이상 필요하지 않게 되면 학교의 판단에 따라 삭제하거나 비활성화합니다.
5. 누가 볼 수 있나
- 담임 교사 — 자기 반 학생의 명단, 출결, 과제, 성적표. 다른 반의 정보는 볼 수 없습니다
- 학교 관리자·운영진 — 학사 운영을 위해 전체 학생 정보
- 학부모 — 본인 자녀의 출결과 과제, 담임이 학부모 공개로 올린 학급 소식만
학교 밖의 누구에게도 학생·보호자 정보를 판매하거나 제공하지 않습니다.
6. 아동의 정보
한글마루는 유아반부터 운영되는 한글학교의 서비스이므로 만 13세 미만 아동의 정보를 포함합니다. 이 정보는 아동이 직접 제공하는 것이 아니라, 학교가 등록 과정에서 보호자로부터 받은 것을 학교가 입력합니다. 학사 운영 목적으로만 사용하며 광고에 사용하거나 외부에 판매하지 않습니다.
7. 열람·수정·삭제 요청
보호자는 자녀의 정보를 확인하거나 고치거나 삭제해 달라고 학교에 요청할 수 있습니다. 아래 연락처로 문의해 주시면 확인 후 처리해 드립니다.
8. 변경 안내
이 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지의 시행일을 갱신합니다. 중요한 변경이 있을 때는 학교를 통해 별도로 안내합니다.

Privacy Policy
Effective August 27, 2026 · Hangeul Maru (New Song Korean School)
1. What this service is
Hangeul Maru is an internal web application used by New Song Korean School to run its Saturday Korean language program. It is used by the school’s teachers, administrators, and parents. It is not a public service — accounts can only be created with an invitation from the school.
2. Information we collect
- Staff — name, email address, role, and assigned class. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored or visible to this application.
- Students — Korean and English name, date of birth, gender, grade level, Korean proficiency level, class assignment, allergy information, attendance records and absence reasons, assignment status and grades, report cards, and teacher notes (not shown to parents).
- Guardians — name, relationship to the student, phone number, and email address.
- AI chat — the full text of conversations teachers have with the built-in AI assistant is stored and may be reviewed by school administrators. This is disclosed on the chat screen itself.
- Students using the app without an account — for features like Korean typing practice, only a nickname and practice records are stored. No real names or contact details are collected.
3. Google user data
The application connects to Google Drive using a single school administrator’s Google account. Teachers and parents do not connect their own Google accounts.
- Scopes requested —
.../auth/driveto list, view, upload, rename, move, and delete files in the shared folders the school designates; and.../auth/userinfo.emailto show which account is connected. - How it is used— browsing and managing the school’s shared teaching materials, importing the student roster from a spreadsheet, exporting a roster to Google Sheets, and retrieving school documents as reference material when the AI assistant answers a question.
- What we store— the OAuth access and refresh tokens (used only server-side and never sent to the browser), the connected account’s email address, and the IDs and names of the folders the school designates. We do not store the contents of Drive files.
- What we never do — we do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to third parties outside the school.
Hangeul Maru’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The administrator can disconnect at any time from the Google Drive settings screen in the app, or revoke access directly at Google Account → Security → Third-party apps.
4. AI processing
AI features use the Google Gemini API. Teacher questions and conversations, image generation prompts, and excerpts of school documents used as reference are sent to Google for processing. Student names, birth dates, and contact details are not sent automatically; teachers are instructed not to type student personal information into the AI chat.
5. Where data is stored
Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) and hosted on Vercel, with AI processing by Google. These services operate servers in the United States. Data is kept for as long as the school needs it for its academic operations.
6. Who can see what
- Homeroom teachers see only their own class — roster, attendance, assignments, and report cards.
- School administrators see all student information, for running the school.
- Parents see only their own children’s attendance and assignments, plus class posts the teacher marked as visible to guardians.
7. Children’s information
Because the school serves children from preschool age, this service holds information about children under 13. That information is provided by parents or guardians to the school during enrollment and entered by school staff — it is not collected from children directly. It is used only for the school’s academic operations, never for advertising, and is never sold.
8. Access, correction, and deletion
Parents and guardians may ask the school to review, correct, or delete their child’s information. Please contact us at the address below.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page and notify the school community of significant changes.
